I have an older hinged safe that we want to open without a locksmith as their too damn expensive?

1973 Ford Blower Motor Resistor - Expert Difficult Question?

I have a 1973 Ford Country Squire. The blower motor resistor needs replacing. The blower motor resistor is right next to the blower motor. It is located on the passenger side right by the wheel well and the hinge of the hood. It looks like it is held in with rivets? How do I remove it? Do I drill the rivets out and re-rivet the replacement in or do I need to remove the plastic housing around the AC unit and remove it from the backside? Thanks.

Low stinger shot: golf?

I am wondering how to hit the low stinger that Tiger Woods has made so famous. I have tried using a 3 wood and 4 iron for this shot. For the three wood i place ball in middle of my stance and the four iron just slightly back of middle. When i swing through i keep my hands way ahead of the clubface to deloft the club, around my front thigh at contact is what I am trying for. I cut off my backswing where my wrists start to hinge and I do the same in the follow through of the swing. I never get the ball flight that I expect though on this shot. To be honest, instead of hitting a low stinger my ball comes off the clubface barely just below normal height and then balloons up into the air higher than normal! I dont understand what I am doing wrong. Am I attacking downward into the ball too hard. I play a draw on this shot to try and shallow out my swing plane because playing a fade on it seems to multiply the problem. I do attack down on the ball hard on normal swings. I am most certainly not a sweeper iron player. Do you guys think that this is the issue, or are there other swing flaws that could cause this low stinger to balloon up into the air so badly? Any tips on how to hit this shot consistantly would be greatly appreciated. I would love to take this shot off of the driving range and onto the course!!!

Should I drink from the cup or not?

So I'm a Christian and following the teaching of Jesus Christ. I also dabble in Mosaic Law and the teachings and stories of the prophets and the Old Testament from time to time. So, I have this little dilemma. I belong to the Catholic Church and at communion they offer both bread and wine. I always go for the bread but I cautious about partaking in the wine. The reason is that there could be 100 to 300 parishioners in the church on any given Sunday with , I'm guessing, 20 to 30 percent drinking from the same cup which the individual serving wipes in between each parishioner. I feel this may not be very healthy (germ wise) so I skip the wine. The thing is I really want to partake but my thinking is stopping me. So what do you think? Am I at risk of catching some deadly communicable disease by drinking from the same cup as others or am I just worrying excessively?

Okay so here's the story. I am or was in a long distance relationship with a guy. Why does my external monitor not work?

On my laptop, an Inspiron 1525, I took off the monitor and disconnected it from my laptop. Then I hooked up an external monitor. The reason I disconnected my monitor from my laptop was that the hinges were broken and it wasn't even connected to the laptop except by wires. Now when I start the computer up I can see the screen that says I can press F12 etc to go to set up or BIOS etc. Then I see the loading bar when windows is loading up. After that the monitor doesn't show anything even though I can hear the sound of windows starting up. Do I need to have the original monitor hooked up, or do I have to setup something, or will it just not work? I know that the monitor has worked on my laptop before when the monitor was hooked up. Simple Access/SQL project?

I'm trying to build an Access form that will change data in 3 separate tables in SQL. I have the ODBC link created and I can see all of the fields. The issue I'm running into is I can't get the key ID to update in the two sub tables from one field in the form. I created the primary key ID and made the other two tables have a foreign key relationship to it in SSMS. What am I missing? I'm sure it's very simple but I've been searching for hours. When I was about 16yrs old, I dabble with drug culture a good bit. For a few months i smoked marijuana everyday and even tried psilocybin mushrooms. I enlisted into the Marine Corps and am trying to be a Signal Intelligence analyst under MOS 26. Not until recently did I know that I would have to undergo a Single Scope Background Investigation as well as a polygraph test. Not only am i scared about that but when I enlisted I didn't tell the recruiters the whole truth about my run in with drugs when I was younger and am scared that I'll get busted for the inconsistency in my stories as well as lying. Any advice would be highly appreciate. I really screwed up and hopefully I can leave my past behind me once and for all.

I have started reading a book called, "Demons In Disguise" As Christians we believe that demons can pretend to be dead people. People who go to Mediums are really making contact with demons. My HP G63 laptop's screen wont power up.?

I have a HP G63 laptop. Its screen is held together by electric tape due to damage. It is so damaged it is now a stationary computer. It will not close and overheats very quickly due to the fact that HP (after sending it in for 2 weeks) did not repair it. Recently it has been overheating in the bottom right hand of the screen where it is held together by tape and it has a black hot spot on the screen when it is powered on. I am wondering what to do with it cause it is my life line computer and I do business on it. When you try to close it the computer screen is offset making me think that it one of the hinges is also broken. Right now the screen wont even power on. I need help hanging a prehung interior door?

the rough opening is well ROUGH the sides do not match up, in order to get the door to be perfectly set the left side (hinge side right hand swing door) is good but the right doesn't line up..ie the top sticks out about 3/4 in at the top and 1/8 in at the bottom. How should i hang this and what will be the best way to cover up this poor frame job. reframing is not an option for me it is only this one door and it has all new drywall and everything i want to be able to hide this mistake somehow. Is there any way my laptop can be repaired?

So about two years ago, someone got angry at me and took my laptop and threw it at a linoleum floor. The only thing that really came from it though was scratches. Then, gradually, my laptop's hinges started acting weird. It would resist being opened and would make cracking noises every time I tried, but then one day one of the hinges just broke, and then after awhile the other one broke and now my laptop needs to be held up by something in order for the screen to stay up. The whole border thing that surrounds the screen is coming off, and you can see what is behind it. Also, my laptop can't stay by itself without a fan for about 10 minutes, because then it'll over heat and turn off. So, my question is, is there any way I can get the screen to my laptop fixed, and is there a way to take care of the overheating thing? Why has some sort of natural sunlight therapy not been incorporated more in hospitals?

There are so many benefits to natural sunlight exposure (obviously in smaller doses these days). Patients that have to be hospitalized for long period of times tend to suffer from depression, which in turn, affects your entire brain/body chemistry, which then can slower or even reverse the ability of our bodies to heal. I understand that this type of therapy could not be used on EVERYONE, but still, the benefits for patients to experience some sort of natural sunlight could do wonders! The increased seratonin released can increase mood, decrease cortisol levels which decrease will decrease stress levels from the "fight or flight" response and let the body start to repair itself. Hospitals don't even need hi-tech equipment for this! They could just build a top story greenhouse type "sun room" where patients could be taken to for a short period of time each day or a few times a week, depending on their individual treatment, and relax for some well needed exposure to NATURAL light! I know hospitals have dabbled in artificial light therapy but I have a feeling that there is a lot more than just the artificial light needed to "jump-start" and get the chemical juices flowing. The visual stimuli and association of REAL sunlight on a sunny day lays the groundwork for your brain to tell your body to get ready for some "action". Just look at how much moods can change over the winter when sunlight exposure is limited and how a sunny day tends to give people that extra boost to go outside and enjoy the day.

I've had my Dell Inspiron a couple of years now and love it! Often times the hinge screws just become loose and need to be tightened. Look on the back edge and bottom of the computer for any screws around the hinge area that may be loose and tighten them carefully. As for the screen area, you'd have to remove the bezel from around the screen. You'd have to remove the little screw covers/bumpers from the corners and a couple in the top middle area and remove the screws, then carefully pry the bezel off to get to the hinge area behind the bezel. If parts are actually broken, then you'd have to get replacement components.

I've had my lip pierced for about a year now, and I really, really like it. I've worn a ring in it pretty much the whole time (aside from when it was newly pierced, of course) but now I work at a police station and I can't have it in at work, so I wear the clear labret retainer, which is fine for work and everything but boy do I hate it! I can't stand labret jewelry. I hate that I can feel it all up in my mouth and whatnot, and I play with it constantly because it's RIGHT FRIGGING THERE and it's getting angry at me because of all the movement. Alright, so I broke my laptop, an HP, Pavilion dm4, recently. What happened was that the hinges of the laptop kept getting stuck and one of them eventually broke off. So the laptop was unevenly closing. So I took of the other hinge, for evenness. Little did I know, that they have tons of wires that they hide INSIDE the hinges. So, eventually after closing and opening a laptop with no hinges for about a week, one of the wires broke in half, and now the whole screen is discolored an you can't even see anything. It's terrible, I have to use my upstairs computer now, and it's summer so it's hot upstairs, so please, how do I fix this? Can I contact HP and get it replaced? ok so here's the deal. I've liked this guy since January. Were just acquaintances and we've had a few classes together since freshman year. He's really sweet and really cute. Laptop hinge cracked - what can I do?

Neighbors are harassing me about my dogs?

Long story short-I rescued an abused pitbull, he's a real sweetheart. He and my other dog get along very well, but he's really protective. He used to bark a lot but I've worked really hard to keep them quiet (really, REALLY hard), and now they barely bark at all. For some reason my neighbor is out to get them. He's called animal control several times about my dogs barking (even though it's my other neighbor's dog that barks all the time). He knows it's not my dogs barking but he doesn't care. I recently went outside to see why my dog was frantically barking and it was because my jerkoff neighbor was videotaping him through my fence, pressed right up against it and kind of kicking it with his foot, you know, to make my dog bark more. Should i just get a new laptop?

Upstairs Neighbor is Smoking, what can I do?

I live in a rowhome and although the walls are not necessarily thin, when the neighbor upstairs smokes the stench is unbearable! I talked to her this afternoon and she even though she admitted that she smoked, she tried to convince me that the smoke was coming from "somewhere else"! She even tried to convince me that it was coming from the apartment next door, but when I told her it was vacant she had a blank look on her face. I can smell the smoke again and she said she "Only smokes three cigarettes a day" She told me she also has cancer now and she says she even smoked while wearing the patch. Laptop trouble! Please help!?

I'm not sure how to explain what's wrong but i'll try my best. I closed the lid of my laptop a bit too fast and the metal part (there are two, one on each side of the hinge) popped out. The laptop closes and opens normally, but its a bit loose, and the part (i have no idea what you call it) is completely attatched, just out of its place. I would try together her approved as a warmblood broodmare, but I don't know that she'd be accepted as she isn't really the classic warmblood build... And I definitely don't want to breed her I the baby can't be registered, I will not have my precious pony's baby being sold for meat; never in a million years. Does anyone have any ideas? What MMORPG should I get?

I quit WoW due to cataclysm ruining the great world I loved, so now I'm looking for a new MMORPG bandwagon to ride. I've narrowed it down to 2 of em: Rift, Guild Wars. These fit my style of play from what I've seen/heard. I've dabbled a bit in Guild Wars which is why I like, plus that one pay forever ain't too bad either. But my problem with Guild Wars is that I enjoy raiding and being rewarded for it but apparently you don't have to raid to get good gear. But, I heard PvP was kickass, and it looked it from gameplay vids I've seen, which was crazy as hell. From what I hear on Rift, it sounds pretty legit, haven't read up alot on its PvP. BUT I didwatched some gameplay though and seemed like WoW which will make me pretty good at it seeing as how I was sexy at PvP in WoW. Raiding seemed very familiar as well, which also attracts me. Does God hate me or is he just not real?

I am a 25 year old woman who is very nice, polite and try to be a good person all the time, but yet who has been struggling so bad and so much my whole life with abuse by a lot of people, and even physically abuse. I have ADD which I hate and want to go away. I have put on over 60 pounds for not doing it on purpose at all, medications own fault and my old physciatrist didin't even care therefor I've been called fat, ugly, ect. and she missed diagnosed all her patients with bipolar disorder. I'm addicted to the drugs for ADD when I've prayed and begged for God to cure my or help with my ADD when he didn't, he let me become a drug addict instead. There is a lot of things that I have prayed for and some that were very serious and I always get NOTHING out of it. I am starting to have serious doubts and realize that religion is made up by a bunch of people to scare others and that God, Jesus Christ, Heaven, and hell are nothing but fairy tales and the bible is man made. And I am thinking about just moving on with my life and live for myself, my family and for my friends and forget about religion because it did nothing good but do harm to me.

What is involved when replacing drivers side door/fender?

I have a 97jeep grand cherokee laredo, upon which the door is totally shot. It won't close because the door/fender have cracks near the hinges and although we've "rigged" it before so as to be usable, it has finally reached the point where it cannot be opened without risking falling completely off. I would like to try to replace it myself if at all possible but have no experience whatsoever in this. However, I am game to try it.

The screws in my door hinge keep falling out. This essentially is making my door hang on an angle. I tried using bigger screws to fix this but it only worsened the condition by making the hole bigger. Is there anyway I can fix this without calling a carpenter?

Behaviour problems in year old mini labradoodle?

She could be just a very stubborn dog, I have a dog and she used to go outside with the others now she won't get up off her lazy butt and go, she won't listen... anyway... Do you give her enough attention? Maybe she needs to be disciplined (not the cruelty kind though)? as an officer you WILL be doing admin eventually no matter how bad you might want to stay "in the field". as for a career option, you could always be an Air Attache to an ambassador or something. They've really cut down on the Intelligence and Public Affairs AFSCs so don't count on being a journalist. as an officer the most you'd probably end up doing is reviewing articles and photos taken by enlisted people whose job it is to do that or setting up projects for visitors.

Well, this year there has been a guy in all my classes and he is a friendly and outgoing guy and very athletic/talented, what i found strange though is this year he and his friend have been super polite and nice to me, always compliment me on my art and drawings etc. and defend me and get all protective when someone is being mean to me (even if they are obviously joking around) him and his friend sometimes go out of their way to do this stuff and i often see one of them staring at me and he is always facing me from accross the room in class, as in his whole body is facing me, maybe this is coincidence i have thought? but it has been confusing me because - he is popular and flirty and hugs lots of girls and i often see him talking to this blonde/spray tan girl who is a senior (much older) but i just dont think he is a 'player' i think there is more to him then that... he asks my friends questions about class etc but glances at me.. he also wanted to partner up for a get-to-know-you class task with me, but i dont know if that was just so he could be near his friend? what do you think, does he like me...i like him but im not as 'popular' and i dont want to but i sometimes ponder if he is out of my league? i am greatful for any answers :)

My laptop screen keeps going black?

i have a Samsung r20 laptop. when i turn it on the screen comes on for a couple of minutes and then it goes blank then i usually move the screen about it will come back on. it all started when the right hinge of my laptop came off of the screen that opens and closes it so it might be that but im not sure can somebody tell me how to fix it please it would be appreciated

it looks similar to one end of a box clasp but doesnt have any ornate other end to lock into. its hinged and just folds around the skinny bar and snaps into place on itself...i wish i could describe it better.

Its best to just be friends, and just take it for what it is. But definitely don't think of her as more than a friend. Sorry, but sometimes it really comes down to not being meant to be.

Is learning to play the fiddle/violin hard?

I am interested in learning to play the fiddle/violin and I was wondering if it is hard? I play Native American Flutes, Irish Tin Whistle, I dabble in the Mountain Dulcimer and Lap Harp, I'm in the process of learning guitar and Fife. I recently got my laptop fixed. It's back and fixed with a new lid but the internal microphone is not working?

I'm not positive or anything, but you might want to check you settings in the control panel, it could just be turned off. Or if you're using Skype or something like that then it may be in the options/settings on there as well. Mine was set to an external microphone, and i had to change it to internal.

Is my laptop keyboard broken?

I was going inside my laptop, an Inspiron 1525, to disconnect the monitor from it as the hinges were busted and the monitor was trashed basically. I took off the keyboard to pull out some monitor cords and then I accidentally yanked the keyboard to hard and the cord got pulled out. Me and my dad tried putting it back in the connector and then we turned the laptop on with an external monitor, which worked fine, but the keyboard didn't work. Is the keyboard useless, or is there a certain way to reattach it? Please only answer if your answer applies specifically for Inspiron 1525 laptops and you have knowledge of replacing keyboards.

What's his deal with porn and ripping pictures of my little from fb?

Early in our relationship he told me he wasn't into porn and that really wasn't his thing. But I was like, "All guys dabble in it, it's really ok." Fast forward a few years and when I was cleaning out our closet I found a duffle bag full of porn. I'm talking about in total maybe 300 videos. In the bag was up skirt pictures from Mexico, He denies any of it is his. And when I was trying to fix his phone, I saw he took pictures of a woman's butt up close while he was at work. Then a few yrs later he starts being sneaky on his phone. He ended up in the emergency room, and they took him back into a CT scan and I went through his phone. He ripped pictures from my 20 yr old cousin's fb. I deleted them. I felt trapped because I was a few weeks pregnant with our 3rd kid. Then a few wks later, he was being sneaky with his phone and never ever leaving it unattended...EVER. So while he slept I went through his phone and I found like 15 pictures of my cousins on his fb along with a bunch of porn! He emailed many pictures of my cousin to his fake yahoo account. And along with these more pictures of a chick that probably had no idea her photo graph was being taken. I confront him and he delected it on me and my past mistakes in our relationship. The random porn doesn't really bother me, but why have pictures of my cousin is to say took some "sexy" type of pictures? That crossed a huge line with me as well as the picture taking of people who don't know they are being photographed. I don't trust him around my family, and I feel as if I have to separate that family life and him at all times because I can't get what he probably did to those pictures of her. I highly doubt she is interested in him. Sometimes I look at him and it creeps me out.

Learning Programing again?

Hi I recently asked a question about programming. If my ideas are right programing is telling objects what to do with a code language. If I'm right on a hunch it would be easy to learn other language after learning one but that's a guess. If this guess is true then what would be a good first learn language. If not where would I find a list of languages and what each does so I can pick the one I would like to use. OH this also all hinges on the hunch that the easiest way to learn about programing is to learn a language witch I'll have to do eventually any ways.

Door scrapes on floor now. Suggestions?

We have an old door that over time and due to humidity, now scrapes on our wood floors. Over the weekend, I tried to shim the bottom hinge to raise it - now the door doesn't shut properly. I took out the shim and the door shuts fine, but scrapes. I tried to use longer screws on the top hinge, but due to the door being so old, the holes are pretty much stripped and the new longer screws don't grab onto anything. Any suggestions? We love the old door and really don't want to replace it.
