Is it wrong of me to hope they break up? :/?

the boy I've hopelessly fallen for has a girlfriend and I secretly wish that he would break up with her. I just dont want him to be sad. I want him to be happy no matter what, but i wish i could be happy with him. i've only had one boyfriend before, who broke up with me over a text message. where as this boy treats me soo nice. he's always being polite and respects me. but am i a bad person? like i dont want his girlfriend to be sad either..i just wish he wasnt taken..
